Pretty good insurance

Pretty good insurance. I like when I had the claim mailed to me because they broke down what was and wasn’t covered. I have since opted to get my reimbursement digitally and I like the speed better, but there’s no explanation with it. I’m not sure how to find that info. I’d give more stars, but they just sent an email asking how my dog was since he was at the vet and if he’s still under the weather, to call their vet helpline. My dog simply went in for a wellness check so the email is clearly mass-generated and impersonal. I do not appreciate how inaccurate it was. Also, if my dog was sick, I’d be calling my own vet, not their helpline. Other than getting no explanation of coverage with my digital reimbursement and the inaccurate, automated emails, I’d recommend this company as an option for someone looking for pet insurance. I do like how it covers for some routine procedures with the wellness package, vs. only emergency ones.

Best thing I could have ever done

I would do this again in a heartbeat. Every year I get back more than I put in so it's been totally worth it. My dog gets UTI's about every 3 - 4 months so between that and annual shots, this has paid for itself.

Grateful

We've had a crazy 2018 with plenty of transition. Along the way, our puppy has had several issues that simply were not part of the plan, or our budget. Having Nationwide supporting us has helped to relieve some of the anxiety of a tough year.

Very helpful

I was really upset when my little pup tore her ACL and was a mess leading up to and during and after her surgery. Nationwide covered everything they said they would and didn’t make anything difficult on me at all. Even when I called, I was greeted with friendly customer service and helpful service. You guys made a really stressful and scary time, not so scary. I appreciate it.
