Good
Nationwide is good. I like the policy I chose but I would like to see a faster turnaround time for claims processing, and an easier way to participate in their direct deposit for payments.

Highly recommended
My neighbors dog was attacked by a large Shepherd. Her dog lost a Eye & Leg the Vet bills were over $22,000
The good news was she had Pet insurance, the person who owned the Shepherd did the right thing and paid the out of pocket cost which was over $2,000
That made me think could I afford that $22,000 if anything was to happen to my Dog. That is when I bought Pet insurance.
I'm very happy that I took Pet insurance for my pet knowing if anything happened I covered

Awesomeness
Our poor little pup has been thru the wringer health wise. She’s such a happy little pup and we want only the best for her. Because we have her insured with y’all, the financial stress is one thing we don’t have to worry about. Thank you so very much for helping us take the best possible care of her.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
