Nationwide insurance is efficient and timely with their reimbursements

Nationwide posts on-line the results of the claim before the reimbursement--so you can follow the process and add any additional information necessary for the claim. This company took over from VPI Pet Insurance and they have been efficient and timely in their reimbursements for Vet care for our pet.

Grateful

i have been happy with nationwide Pet insurance. There are other cheaper pet insurance products, however Nationwide is consistent and predictable. Margaret gets wellness exams twice a year and 100% covered. She is a very heathy, Happy Wheaten.

You guys rock

Our puppers recently had an accident and needed surgery, so that he was able to walk normally.... if it hadn’t been for nationwide we would not have been able to afford the surgery! He went in February 4 th and had an ACL and meniscus tear repaired We are a blended family with 6 children between the ages of 12 and 24 our only “together” child is our rescue Fireball, he means the world to all of us and thanks to nationwide we are able to give him the best care!!!!!

Pet insurance is not cheap, but for the price you pay, it shouldn't take a month to get your refund!

So glad I bought this pet insurance!

I’m so glad that I bought this coverage for my fur baby, Porter. Frenchies come with all sorts of potential breed-specific medical problems, and without this pet insurance, I might not be able to pay for the health care and emergency care my little one might need. Usually, I’m sent the reimbursement on my claims in 2-4 weeks. The whole claims process is easy too. Best coverage for the price and well worth it.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
