Glad to be protected!
Our 3 year old Golden Retriever pups have had a run of bad luck and we we're glad to be protected by Nationwide Pet! No one can prepare for when the dog eats the kids socks (which later become lodged in the digestive tract) or munches on rocks (that break 3 teeth). This family is confident we made the right decision being a Nationwide member. Our policy protected our handsome Golden's and our bank account from what could have been a financially catastrophic event. Many thanks to the Nationwide Pet team for all you do!

Peace of mind
Having Nationwide Pet Insurance has given me such peace of mind. I had to take my cat in to the emergency vet and, while that was a scary experience, I did not have to fear the bill at the end because I knew I had coverage for his treatment. So grateful to have nationwide at my back! Thank you!!

THE ALLOWABLE BENEFIT AMOUNT IS REDICULOUS
I am finding that your allowable dollar amount on illnesses or accidents is totally absurd. You limited my benefit payout to $ 370.00 for Mia and those 2 bills cost me way more than that. . And you held back a ridiculous amount on my Mattie's claim. .
I paid more than that in the vet visits for both dogs. Well over 1000.00 in less than 2 weeks.. I pay you each and every month for 2 pets. You don't seem to mind taking my money but then you limit my reimbursement. And I know you have a benefit schedule I was already told that from your representative. when I called. Well the idiot who made up that schedule obviously never had a sick pet. I find this whole thing very unsettling and quite offensive. I don't know how you stay in business? Never mind, I do now, you extort the customers.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
