Thank you for helping us get Marni through her TPLO surgery & rehab!

Marni had TPLO surgery on her left knee in December. She has healed beautifully but we are so thrilled that we had Nationwide's Pet Insurance to help defray the expense of this expensive surgery & her rehabilitation. It was a great help! Marni still has to go back for her final check-up & x-rays but we are expecting a perfect report because she has done so well! Thank you!

Easy and worthwhile

Claims are super easy to submit, even with mixed receipts that contain both covered and non covered issues. Claims to take some time typically 30 days but well worth it when you spend $500 and get a return of $450. Great coverage!

I Couldn't Do It Without Nationwide!

I have always been thankful for Nationwide, formerly VPI, Pet Insurance. I've had dogs with auto immune diseases, allergies, and battling with CCL tears with the current one. If it wasn't for Nationwide, I don't know how I would have managed without them. Customer service is always super friendly and extremely helpful. Submitting claims could not be any easier, and turn around time is fabulous. Thanks for everything Nationwide!

Excellent service in a prompt manner

Excellent service from Nationwide. I’ve been with them for quite a while and they have always covered my pets claims in a prompt & professional manner. I am very happy with their service and would recommend them most highly.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
