Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

I have had (VPI) Nationwide Pet Insurance since our dog was a puppy and it is definitely worth it! Eliminates the stress of the rising cost of medical care for animals, and let's face It, when your dog is sick you’re already stressed, so not having to worry about the cost is well worth it! The only reason I gave them a 9 instead of a 10 is I wish the turn around time for them to disburse the reimbursement was a little quicker. Usually takes a month to get your money. Which doesn’t sound bad if its just a small claim, however if you’re having something major done that costs thousands of dollars, it would be nice to get reimbursed faster. Other than that, their customer service and ease of sending in claims and receiving money is super easy. Your vet can submit your claims for you also! I would highly recommend

Nationwide has been so responsive ever since I got the insurance and my puppy. They are quick to answer any questions, quick to respond to claims and have been nothing but helpful. Super easy to work with! Hands down the best insurance and company I’ve dealt with after hearing stories from friends of what they’ve gone through with their insurance companies.

I have had Nationwide Pet Insurance from day one for Lucy, she's now 6 months old, and for most of Maggie's life and she's almost 11. The insurance program for both dogs has continually improved. It may seem expensive, but if you add up your regular vet bills, and anything else that may occur, it is definitely worth the cost. Everyone I talk to that has dogs, we discuss insurance, and I have recommended Nationwide, and most have reached out. Some are able to get it through their company programs...which is where I also began. Nationwide is responsive, extremely fair, and easy to submit claims! Thank you Nationwide!!!
