Super simple, super value

Having a puppy means expecting the unexpected and knowing that the Wellness Plus offers me savings just for meeting the basic health needs of my dog makes it even more justifiable to pay a little each month for pet insurance should my dog need more extensive care. Within four days of starting my coverage I already met my deductable for the year as my puppy injured his foot. We were both shaken up by the accident but the ease of submitting our claim, simply uploading our recepit from the vet via a super user friendly app, allowed me to spend more time comforting my pup and no time doing the run around with an insurance company. Within a few weeks I received my check in the mail which allowed me to pay off the vet bill in full thanks to the additional money from the Wellness Rider reimbursed visits. This is definitely a necessity for all puppy parents!!

Pet insurance equals peaceful mind.

The moment we added a second pet to our lives we knew getting pet insurance would put our minds at ease. We all love our animals & when it comes to their it's our hearts that take over & pay those medical bills. Pet insurance is the best investment we've made. It's definitely helped us many times.

Terrible!

Before Nationwide took over VPI, it was much better. It actually put a pet owners mind at ease to be able to have your pet taken care of without worry! Now that Nationwide has taken over, it’s typical big company “get rich off of bending people over backwards.” My dog had to have $14,000 in diagnostic tests and surgery and they reimbursed me $1700! That is absolutely crazy, when I’m spending $150/month for two dogs on their “Superior” plan. Do the math people, save yourself the disappointment from this company, and take the $150/month and put it in a separate, high interest savings account and let it build for the time you may really need it. My 8yo dog has had one big thing in 8 years and VPI screwed me over!!!
