So satisfied with Nationwide Pet Insurance!!

Ravens' recent visit to the vets was for a wellness and vaccine update. She is doing very well!! And I as a senior citizen is very happy with the help of Nationwide Insurance for Raven in helping with her pet expenses! Thank you!!

Poisonous Snake Bite

Our 5 moth old Golden Retriever puppy, Hank was bitten on the nose by a poisonous snake in our yard. It was early evening so we rushed him to our local Pet E.R.. for treatment which required an overnight stay. The treatment was expensive but thank goodness we had the pet insurance to help offset the cost of treatment. We have had the coverage on other dogs previously and knew the value of the policy and coverage, so it was a no brainer for us to get for Hank when he joined our family. Thanks Nationwide! He h

VERY HAPPY WITH NATIONWIDE PET INSURANCE

Rocky had an ear infection for which I received medication. My vet submitted my claim & in no time, I had a notice that I was receiving reimbursement. I am very please with the prompt response as well as being able to get direct deposit. I had VPI/Nationwide insurance for a previous dog [Lucy] and was please then. That's why I stayed with Nationwide.

Fast and super friendly service

This is my first experience to claim pet insurance. When I received all my letters and I have questions, I called customer service and they explain my claim to me in details. The claim is easy to set up and submit, just fill up the form and submit it with the bill from vet to the email address, then the claim will process with 24 hours with an automatic "received" notice email. The whole process takes approx. 2-3 weeks then I received the payment. So simple! I love it!

Claim submission is simple.

The claim submission process is simple. I appreciate the fillible forms that I can save and reuse for the next claim. I didn't use pet insurance review to find this insurance company.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
