Beyond pleased with this insurance
I couldn’t be happier with this insurance. Worrying About illness or injuries for my dog is stressful enough. Not having to worry about the cost takes makes the process so much better. It’s such an easy process and nationwide is so easy to work with and explains everything in a language you can understand. I recommend this insurance to all my friends!!

Simply the BEST
Nationwide truly cares about our pets. I love the magazines and the claims process is super easy and fast. I also like the portal that I can go to to look at docs, etc. They're the best!

Coverage for emergent vet issue
Submitting our claim was easy and we were reimbursed as expected in a timely manner. It gives us great peace of mind knowing that if Bruno needs emergency services in the future, they’ll be covered, and it removes a major barrier to going to the vet as soon as an issue emerges, which was definitely in his best interest.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
