Last 2 claims (initial visit and surgery)
It took me 4 months to have my claim processed appropriately. Everyone was polite, but the only person who seemed to be helpful was the last person to work on the claim, who was a supervisor. I pay so much money and shouldn’t have had to put so much work into these 2 simple claims. I spent hours making phone calls back and forth between Nationwide and the vet, as well as faxing paperwork and writing letters. If this wasn’t my only option for pet insurance through my employer, I probably would’ve switched.
