Nationwide has my pets covered

It's a good feeling to know that my pets, a brittany and an english setter have a great insurance policy /company. I have had pets in the past without coverage and when an unexpected illness or injury pops up the last thing you want to do is worry about the costs of treatment, they are my babies and family and they count on me to keep them healthy. .. and having a good policy let's me.

Nationwide is great but would like to see the reimbursements a little sooner than they arrive... since you pay upfront.

I do think "Nationwide" is great. Anabelle has only had wellness visits and basic flea, tick, & heartworm prevention meds. The only reason I mention I would like to see reimbursements arrive sooner is for the event if it was a large amount fee to pay.(other than wellness) We pay upfront for these visits and the reimbursements should arrive in a speedy manner since they are faxed directly. I must say "Customer Service" is excellent.

Sometimes claims are very slow in processing.

Claims can be very slow to process. I received 2 checks the same day but visits were 2 weeks apart.

adequate coverage for pet insurance

EOB’s just summarize amounts not covered and I can NEVER match the amount to line I pick from my invoices. I don’t have any idea what cost they are so I can’t question them. In the past I gave called to ask but just get he explanation that the is for costs not covered - so basically they read me what I already read on the EOB but can’t tell me what the details that comprise the amount are.
