fast service. money deposited within 2 weeks right into my bank account

they have raised the price every year which is a major drawback but owning a great dane can be very expensive so I still think it is worth it. fast to get the money deposited right into your bank account

Nationwide cares a lot about my Dexter!!!!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is awesome pet insurance. I have the best policy and it is worth it. They take care of my Dexter and I trust them!!!!

Great customer service, easy to deal with and fair in every way. So far, no complaints about anything!

Nationwide has been very competitive price-wise, easy to deal with, fair in evaluating claims and extremely fair at renewal time. We have been very pleased in all dealing with them and we've had several claims in our first year. We were concerned that our premium might increase going into our second year, but it didn't go up one penny. We would highly recommend to anyone seeking good health insurance for their furry family members.

Please Be more thorough reviewing claims

Three separate times I have submitted claims and one invoice page was not reviewed. After waiting patiently for a response from a review, I had to resubmit a missing page. This extended my wait time for a full payment of the reimbursement. I would not complain but this has happened with 3 separate claim submissions and your turnaround time is pretty long at 30 days otherwise the service has been great.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
