Best pett inurance around

This insurance is awesome. I've filed several claims, with no problems. Very easy to file claims & communicate thru the whole process! I'm so glad my work place started offering pet insurance.

Cupcake is doing much better!

I am very pleased with Nationwide for my dog. They are very professional and efficient. I would recommend them to any pet owner who is in need of an insurance for your pet. Also, they are quite affordable.

Exceedingly easy!

I used to get nervous submitting my claims as I figured the process would be as difficult as health insurance for people. But it's NOT! Nationwide has made everything so easy I've stopped worrying that they'll find a reason to deny my claim or give me runaround. With my elderly four legged loved one that peace of mind is priceless. Thank you!!

So far so good

I file pet insurance for my mom for her pets who has a hard time taking care of them. The first time was difficult to navigate even for me as a vet tech. The second time was much easier as I did it through the app. So far they’ve been fair and handled both claims well.

Easy and Reliable!

This has been the best decision getting my puppy insured! I send a receipt of my vet bill and within 2 weeks I have a check back in the mail! Customer service is amazing and it really give you the peace of mind that your pup is protected.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
