Well you came through in the end but it was difficult to get there.

I have been a nationwide customer for a long time. And while I’ve had to use it on my Old dog who past several years ago when he was a puppy. I haven’t, until recently, used it for my other dog. I never expected to have to use it on my 6 mos old puppy. While you came through, and paid my claim, it was rough getting the info you required and the time it took was long. I do appreciate that you paid my claim and I will always suggest everyone have pet insurance as you have always been good to us in the past.

Never have an issue with filing claims or receiving funds for the covered services. Easy company to work with. Very accommodating when questions do come up.

Glad I chose Nationwide to insure my dogs!

Our BJ had eye surgery so I paid the bill submitted my claim and was reimbursed. It's quick and easy! Thanks Nationwide for taking care of BJ!

Claims are not coming through to pay for the bills I have been paying.

You need to work on your customer service and pay claims faster than you are. I have claims paid but not transfered ot my checking account. I have signed up for electronic payment and have not had notices from Chase to pay them. I am not happy with your service.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
