Easy and convenient

Nationwide has been really great to have for our little corgi. There have been a few unexpected vet visits and we felt good knowing that our insurance would be able to help us out. We had to take her to the emergency room one sunday to remove a fox tail from her nose and we knew it would be a big hit to our wallets, however Nationwide even helped alleviate some of that cost. We also love that we are able to keep up with her vaccinations and not feel like we are just pouring money out. We are able to properly keep our little pup happy and healthy so easily. We use the phone app to submit claims. It is so fast to do right after we get the receipt, we send it through the phone and a claim is submitted right away! Nationwide is the best!

The best pet insurance ever!

Having pet medical insurance has been a life saver for me & my Brody! I seem to get the needy ones and did not know about medical insurance with my past two buddies, so needless to say it was quite expensive for me and Im still paying for them! Nationwide has been a lifesaver! Your team rocks!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
