Wow - Best insurance to deal with! I am impressed by the speed, accuracy and ease of claims processing.

While I am not happy that Finn has had medical issues in his short lifespan, Nationwide has helped immensely in dealing with them. I appreciate your kindness and wellness checks via email. I feel confident that Nationwide has developed workflow processes that work for their beneficiaries and their parents (me!). Thanks so much for all you put into what you do.

Overall, i am so pleased. cusotmer service and response time could be better but I can't say anything negative otherwise!

Speed of claims could be faster, but once processed, money was sent instantly! Otherwise thankful to have this support in my corner!

Nationwide is on your side!

Sweetie & my family are grateful to be insured with Nationwide. Vet visits are always a bit intimidating for us, but knowing that she is insured makes the process a bit more calming. Of course the initial up front cost of the visit always increases our heart rates, but the quick processing time & reimbursement quickly eases our mind. The VitusVet app makes it so easy to file a claim, check your claim history at any time & best of all, direct deposit when the claim is complete. VPI takes the worry out of veterinary costs/services, from start to finish.

VPI is the best, most reliable, pet insurance out there! I've been with you all for years and I have only had positive experiences with customer service representatives, the reimbursement process, and the timeliness of everything. I feel like they really care about me and my furry baby! The best part of having VPI is not having to worry about the costs of services when Toby is sick or when I have concerns about his health. This allows me to always choose the very best care for Toby, regardless of cost! ...which is priceless!!

I recommended you guys to someone else I saw at the vet yesterday

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
