Somewhat clunky process, but easy enough to file a claim
The online portal is a little tricky to use and the steps for creating a claim online are at times contradictory. That said, once I figured out where to go it was easy to submit a claim. The payment back was quick and the explanation of benefits is easy to understand.

I've been using Nationwide Pet Insurance for almost 2 years and it has made a huge difference in our pet's health. Our cat, Pagoda, had a spell of issues in the last year and with Nationwide, we were able to get him the care he needs to keep him going. Huge relief!
We recently had to make an update to our policy and the Customer Service team was extremely knowledgable, professional, and caring. Made it a seamless process.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Exclusions
