Quick and Easy

The recent change to Nationwide Insurance has made a world of difference with my claims. The on-line submission is quick and easy, the review and processing is much quicker and the payment is received in a much shorter period of time. As I have two elderly ladies, I appreciate the marvelous difference in claim processing and payment more than you can imagine. Thank you!

Having this service has been an amazing benefit to me and my fur baby!

I'm just so pleased with the Pet Insurance and how smooth the process has gone for me over the past year. I'm always cautious dealing with insurance companies, but Nationwide is the REAL DEAL! My claims were processed in a timely manner, and I was able to read the benefit statement clearly. Always very profession al and willing to take the time to explain the benefits.

We started with VPI Insurance which was bought out by Nationwide. We have insured two dogs through the years. We have always found them to be very professional and willing to take the time to explain the benefits. the communication is good and payments are generally received in a timely manner.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
