All I can say is that the best thing I ever did was get Penny insured with nationwide.

We Are so lucky to have had Penny insured with nationwide insurance. We were on vacation in Colorado for one month (October 2019). We were at a party where there was barbecuing going on, and a piece of hot coal fell onto the ground and Penny accidentally stepped on the hot coal, my husband had to take the piece of coal out from Penny’s paw because it was stuck in her paw. We could tell that she was in a lot of pain. The next day Penny’s paw was extremely swollen. We took Penny to a pet emergency hospital where they told us Penny had a very serious burn in her little paw. We been taking her to the emergency hospital every day to get her bandaged changed and to get her little paw soaked in medication. Nationwide has been fantastic in processing the Penny’s bills. If we had not had Penny insured with nationwide insurance, I don’t know how we could of paid all of Penny’s bills. Thank you nationwide for being so quick in processing Penny’s bills.

Peace of Mind

I love the peace of mind that my vet will fax a claim and it all happens with little effort from me. I never have to worry about deciding whether I can afford a needed care option for my kitties. And the customer service is excellent!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
