Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

I have had a total of 5 dogs insured with Nationwide, originally as VPI, for approximately 17 years. I was so pleased with VPI, I recommended it to friends and family. Unfortunately, there was a period of time, after Nationwide bought VPI, that the service declined dramatically, with claims being very slow to process and errors occurring requiring me to submit further paperwork. I was quite disappointed and began looking into other pet insurance options. However, Nationwide seemed to suddenly make vast improvements. The electronic payment option has been wonderful and sped up the reimbursement process. But, even since then, I have noticed a dramatic improvement in claims processing and reimbursement time. A claim I submitted earlier this month was processed and reimbursed within a week. Even more impressive, just this week, an additional claim was processed and reimbursed THE NEXT DAY! I am once again very pleased with Nationwide pet insurance and spreading the news :)

Quick, easy and dependable

My co-worker is the ultimate dog-lover and has had pet insurance since the day she started. She has always said how good the coverage is and how easy it is to submit claims, etc., but I just nodded my head and said 'cool'. I am so glad she did so. When we got our sweet Jodi the first thing I did was sign-up for Nationwide pet insurance. Best decision of the year. Thank you.

My pup has had some orthopedic issues, including surgery. I have never had to make any major claims so I wasn't sure what to expect. I have been so impressed with Nationwide. There has been no monkey business. I submit the claim, I get my money. Thank you for making vet care for my beloved girl so much easier. It is so worth it!

Whenever my baby is sick, I feel so covered. My previous plan had always increased premium every year but Nationwide keeps same rate. Very easy to claim and covers everything. Thanks Nationwide Pet Insurance!
