Great experience, with one exception
It is nice knowing that we can take our dog to the vet without worrying too much about what it will cost. Nationwide is great all the way to the check.
The only sore spot for us is that their electronic reimbursement provider is terrible, like can't use them terrible. We tried to sign up twice but had to use a backup email account because they can't handle a hyphen in our email; they also have password requirements that are impossible for our password generator or memory to satisfy (letter+number+NO special characters+upper case+no sequences+++++). We didn't like giving tons of personal information that is irrelevant to sending us money.
Both times we gave up on the electronic payment, had to wait 10 days for it to expire, and then wait for a paper check in the mail that we electronically deposited. We told customer service about the problems, but we're not sure it went any further. Nobody else uses this ridiculous system to get payments, and it has been so crippling to our entire experience with Nationwide.
