Nationwide has saved OSO's life TWICE

Oso was diagnosed with juvenile glaucoma at age 2. She had surgery and now has to have eye drops twice a day for the rest of her life. But guess what, she has her vision. Ironically, today as we get this email to review her Nationwide pet insurance, she is also scheduled for amputation of her left front leg due to bone cancer. Again, Nationwide made this possible. Luckily the cancer was caught early. She is young (4 yrs. old), her CT scan, blood work, and bone scan show she is a good candidate for chemo and amputation, and that is the least painless route thus we are taking it. I don't know how we could do this without pet insurance. We have also had a rottweiler Jack who lived to be 15. His whole life beginning at 1.5 years of age, he had Nationwide. Fortunately, he didn't have a need for it. In summary, Nationwide is truly peace of mind. We would never own a pet without it.

Totally 100% Satisfied

Almost everyone I know said I was crazy to have insurance that cost 75.00 a month. To which I replied do you have health insurance on your child. Well this is my child. You have done what you advertised and we are thankful for having our pet insurance with Nationwide.

Nationwide Insurance is easy to file and is easy to receive payment electronically so that I can take care of Bentlie.

Nationwide Insurance for Bentlie has been the best decision I've made and it allows me to take care of Bentlie and keep him healthy

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
