A relief!

I’ve had insurance for about a year and a half now on both of my dogs. It has been such a RELIEF to know that I can afford to get the necessary medical care my dog needs. I can afford the monthly payment but cannot afford to spend thousands in an instant. If it were not for Pet Insurance I would’ve had to make a choice between money and care for my animal that he deserves. But thanks to Nationwide I was able to get him what he needs. I’ve been an advocate around my community for nationwide. Even my Veterinarian and other animal care specialists have asked about it. After my dog has had 2 surgeries in the past year it has paid for itself for the next 10 years, easily. Making claims from my phone is simple. And receiving the refund electronically makes it even easier! I will never NOT have insurance on a pet ever again. Thank you for offering such a program. Again it has given me so much peace of mind knowing that I can afford to get my dog the proper care.

Piece of Mind in the form of a Policy

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
