So good to have the peace of mind!

Pet insurance was not a "thing" with our other dogs, so we were a bit skeptical when we signed up for it with our new puppy 2 years ago. It has given us peace of mind knowing that Mabel would be in the great care of our vets and that Nationwide would help us with the costs involved. It has paid for itself since we signed up 2 years ago. Thank you.

Nationwide takes the worry out of having a dog!

My claims are processed so quickly, and when I have a question the nationwide representatives are so friendly and concerned. Veterinary costs in my part of the country are probably higher than they are just about anywhere else, but I am not willing to compromise on the quality of care Nakita receives. Because Nakita is insured through nationwide, I am able to get her thoroughly checked out whenever there is a problem.

The best investment in my pet's health and wellbeing!

I have been really pleased with the level of service at Nationwide Pet Insurance. Filing claims is super easy; accepting payments is even easier with a click of a button. The few times I had to engage with customer services, I had a very good experience with clear explanations for the questions that I had. Highly recommended!

the responce time is wonderful

I am glad that I took out this insurance back when I did this. if I ever get another pet I will definitely get the same policy again

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
