Fantastic Pet Insurance

As always our insurance claim was processed promptly. Within a few days, my claim had been reviewed, approved and payment sent directly to my account. I couldn't be happier with Nationwide Pet Insurance and I have recommended it to many friends and relatives, I also have fostered 13 dogs so far for the Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid Florida and also recommend it to my adopting families!

Grateful for Nationwide!

I really appreciate the support that I receive from Nationwide. Claims are easy to complete, response is fast and customer service reps are great. It is wonderful to have the security of knowing that I don't need to base a decision about my pet's health or welfare on finances.

So Glad I Made the Choice for Pet Insurance

My little Twinkles (mini wirehaired Doxie) stopped walking. Having Doxies in the past, we knew that there could be back issues, but never having experience ANY problems we were shocked to hear of her paralysis and IVDD diagnosis. She is currently having acupuncture treatment and we purchased a wheelchair for her. Nationwide has paid for everything minus my deductible. This is the first time we have ever needed to use the Major Medical insurance. It was so easy to file the claim, track the progress and receive reimbursement. When calling into Nationwide, you can tell that the safe are animal lovers and truly care. We are forever grateful.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
