Nationwide Provides Peace of Mind
I'm so fortunate to have Nationwide Pet Insurance offered through my employer. This makes it so convenient and we also receive a discount on the premium.
As a pet owner, you never know what health issues may arise with your pet and I never want to be faced with not being able to get the care my dog needs. My Rottweiler Sophie tore both her ACL's which required two separate operations to make the necessary repairs. This was very intense sand costly surgery. I didn't think twice about it because I knew Nationwide had my back and would cover the surgeries.
This is the best peace of mind that a pet parent could have!

Rough play date
Tango played with a pit bull and loved it but wasn't well afterwards. He was licking the bottom of his tail so we thought it might be an anal glad problem. He had a bit the runs as well. He was listless and cried. We think it actually was a pulled muscle. The pain was real but our

Great!
We've absolutely loved having Nationwide Pet Insurance for our dog. He was rescued and the frist few months were a struggle figuring out stomahc issues, dental procecures, you name it. It was such reassurance to know that Nationwide would be able to help us cover the majority of the costs for every vet visit or proceudre and that we could get our dog the best care.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
