Fantastic!

Our puppy developed a rare and potentially deadly bone infection. Nationwide has been a fantastic partner in his care. They have checked in on him repeatedly and reminded us of resources available to us. Claims have been paid promptly, with no hassles or undue questions. I highly recommend!

Filing a claim and receiving an online payment is a cinch. I have nothing but great things to say about Nationwide Pet. And.. I have a Frenchie who gets herself in to some interesting health situations!

So grateful I have this Ins. My dog has allergies now which means more Vet visits.

If you don't have a gazzilan dollars, you need pet insurance to take proper care of your pet. Nationwide has been great.

Nationwide Comes Through

Upon arriving home six weeks ago my dog was not himself. I brought him to the ER that night and our regular vet the next day. It took a day and half to diagnose and treat the problem - a disc/vertebrae injury. Treatment began with rest and pain management and we're moving toward a therapy phase. Throughout Nationwide has been there providing support.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
