Nationwide reps are kind and have helped so much during Zeeva’s treatments.

Working thru Zeeva’s health Issues has been stressful even more so during today’s pandemic issues. Everyon3 at Nationwide is somhelpful to us and the vet clinic reps.

Exceeded my expectations

This is the second pet I have insured with Nation Wide. I am very pleased at the clear communication of what is covered and the very reasonable premium. This time I picked up the wellness rider and they have paid every check up claim. When our previous dog passed they prorated the premium for her last month. Which I did not request.

Nationwide really came through for my cat!

My cat has been suffering from an idiopathic vestibular disorder since he was 3 years old (he will be 9 yo this summer). He's had 2 MRI's, been through 3 neurologists and is now under the care of a dermatologist as they try to determine the cause of this problem. Needless to say, my vet bills have been quite high - but Nationwide makes it so easy to file a claim and always pays me more than I expect. This insurance has been a lifesaver and I recommend it to everyone!

Nationwide is the absolute Best & only Pet Insurance Company I would recommend!! 10 Stars!!!

When we got Coco (French Bulldo) as a Puppy we though it was important to get pet insurance. I researched a bunch of providers for value, coverage and deductibles. While researching i contacted my employee benefits group and found out Nationwide Pet insurance is offered though my work benefits program. After much research we chose Nationwide. It was the best & right choice. Very informative, great coverage, (mobile app with VitusVet for mobile claim submissions, fast payment reimbursement. We got another Frenchie "Brady" and added him to the policy. Thanks Nationwide!!

Nationwide Insurance is the best pet insurance and would highly recommend the purchase and maintenance of a policy for your pets

You never want to use insurance for your pet; but if you do need it Nationwide Pet insurance is there when you need it. Also, Nationwide makes it easy to file claims. Most importantly, we have confidence that Nationwide values our pet almost as much as we value our family member. I'm glad our vet offered the insurance when our dog was only a puppy.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
