Everything is so convenient and easy!

I am so grateful for how easy it is to submit claims and get reimbursed. Our dog has lymphoma, so he has required special care for the last 6 months. We have not experienced any hurdles or red tape to get reimbursed for his expenses. If we did not have our insurance, he would certainly be dead by now, but the insurance has allowed us to have extra time with him with very little stress or hassle. I'm very grateful.

Filing claim was easy right on my iphone

I was so grateful to have this insurance when Tiger got clawed by another cat unbeknownst to us. So when he became lethargic we took him to vet who stated he had an abcess that was very infected and due to COVID19 I could not go in with him. Having this insurance to cover all but deductible was a lifesaver. His bill was over 588. Dollars.

Love nationwide!

I love how fast and easy the claims are but I’m having trouble with 1 claim even tho I sent in all medical records they still haven’t given me anything back. But overall super happy with nationwide!

A piece of mind

Make sure you get Nationwide Pet Insurance. It has been a real piece of mind for me! My cat, Ita has made at least one emergency visit to the vet and the first thing they ask is, "do you have pet insurance." I want to keep my darling well and not have to worry about the cost. So, do it--buy Nationwide pet insurance.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
