Nationwide has been a life saver for our family!

I have never had pet insurance before. It was something I felt we needed when we purchased our first French Bulldog. Charlie had never been sick before, but I felt it was a good investment. Charlie had to have surgery just before he turned two years old to help him with breathing and sinus issues. I cannot say how much Nationwide has meant to our family during that time. I'm so very pleased with their service and the ease of filling claims. I have sung Nationwide's praises, and I will continue to give recommendations to family, friends, and co-workers! We thank you and Charlie thanks you for everything, Nationwide!

Would definitely recommend Nationwide

The last claim for Mojo was emailed instead of faxed. After a month of not hearing about the claim and it not as existing when I checked online, I called and was told it was not received. It was emailed again with the same result. I then faxed it,as I had done in the past for other claims, it was received. Emailing was a problem.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
