Good insurance

I’ve had good experiences with MetLife Pet ins. It’s easy to submit a claim and I always hear back within a few days. Their price is good also compared to what I was paying with a different company

Very pleased with Metlife claim processing

They do require quite a bit of paperwork from the vet, but it was worth it to me in the processing of paperwork for a back problem my Dachshund, Wally, had which lasted almost a month - but he is now all well, thanks to meds and advice from my vet. My policy has a zero deductible with a 90% reimbursement if the claim is approved. Wally's claim WAS approved, and I received 90% of what all I paid to my vet. It appeared in my on line bank statement this morning, so I would recommend Metlife.

Don’t waste your money

Paid for a policy for the whole year thinking it would be a good idea to have on both animals. Come to find out, If your animal gets sick within 14 days of the policy, you’re SOL. and if there’s any follow up appointments needed, it’s considered a “ pre-existing condition”. MetLife is an absolute SCAM. The only reason they deserve a single star is because of their professional customer service representatives.

Great Pet Insurance!

MetLife did an awesome job processing my claims and reimbursing me any money that I paid out of pocket. But please keep in mind 1: You have to pay out of pocket the day of the visit. 2: the claiming process states 5-10 business days for processing but takes more like 15-20 business days (just have some patience). 3: Having a pet is expensive so have a rainy day fund just in case. Other than that the customer service representatives are amazing and very understanding. You get what you pay for so a good tip: Don’t pay for a cheaper premium plan. Pay for a more expensive one so you’re not paying so much out of pocket during your pet visits. The reimbursement will come in handy later on so you don’t feel like your pockets are completely empty.

Now I know why their rates are cheaper

UPDATE: I still have had no claims paid, despite reaching out in response to my review found below. I keep being told that they don't have the information to process my claim despite the fact that I have sent them all the SOAP notes several times. This company is a scam. Stay away! Now I know why their rates are cheaper. They don't pay claims. They keep saying they don't have the information they need but I have submitted several times all the information they asked for. I deeply regret switching companies.
