Pet ownership must have!
I didn’t much about pet insurance before I go my dog, but I couldn’t be more pleased after adding Lemonade for my dog.

Exceptional, Easy and Quick
Lemonade has been wonderful to deal with! Unfortunately our puppy had an accident resulting in a fractured elbow and the entire claim process was very easy and quick, including follow-up claims related to the accident. I was honestly surprised by how easy it was. I would highly recommend Lemonade Pet Insurance for all of your pets!!!

Great Customer Service
The Lemonade app is super easy and quick to use. The representative was quick to respond and the claim was resolved fairly quickly as well. A couple things weren’t covered when I was expecting them to be, but overall the experience was pretty good. The money that was reimbursed was deposited right to my checking account.

An easy process
Filing a claim and receiving reimbursement was an extremely easy process. Teddy our Yorkshire Terrier had a concerning cyst. Filing the vet invoice was an organized step by step process. Suzie the claim rep was extremely helpful and interested in the case, even over the weekend. Claim settlement was quick. Teddy BTW is fine.

Easiest pet insurance ever
Best customer service ever..easy process for claims..everyone I had communication with during my claims was went beyond the extra mile to make sure everything was ok...I highly recommend getting lemonade pet insurance
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
