Look No Further, Lemonade Is the Number 1 Pet Insurance on the Market
I wish I would have heard about Lemonade sooner!
After I adopted Quigley I enrolled him on the same policy as my senior dog with Healthy Paws, but Healthy Paws is not flexible, the vet services they cover is limited and the deductible doesn't make sense for a young dog like Quigley. I started looking around and enrolled him with Pets Best, what an epic mistake. I filed a claim and it took 2 WEEKS for them to pay the claim.
Finally I learned about Lemonade, I laughed when I heard the name but I thought why not and boy was I surprised at all the options I had, they would cover some services during annual wellness exams, a few vaccinations, all I had to do was select what I wanted. His monthly premium is very reasonable in comparison to the other two companies I used. After Quigley's last wellness exam, I sat down to file the claim and what a breeze! I got online with a rep, they provided me with an email to send the invoice, immediately they had it open and I started plugging in services, vaccines and fees associated. When i was done I was told the money was wired to my account. HOLY POOP! It was that easy.
Meanwhile Healthy Paws charges me a ton, they raised my monthly premium just a few months ago, swearing it wasn't because my old girl was turning 11 or she had been diagnosed with diabetes and I couldn't move her to another plan since she now had a pre-existing condition and no other pet insurance will cover that.
If you want cutting edge pet insurance who knows what pet parents need with a common sense approach then look no further, sign your furry/feathered family members up for Lemonade Pet Insurance. You won't regret it. At least look at what services they can cover, It will surprise you.

First claim was a little stressful as it took quite a while
Very happy in the end. Paid my claim even though it took a while. What a help with my finances and a young wild puppy.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
