Best insurance experience I’ve ever had!

I use lemonade for pet and rental insurance and have had nothing but amazing experiences. Our pup accidentally got into a bottle of Tylenol and had to be hospitalized overnight - lemonade was so easy and quick and covered 90% of our expenses within a week!

File a claim with ease.

Filed our 1st claim after Faith's appointment took less than five minutes for the entire transaction. Time is our most valuable resource and is limited to our busy lives, with that said, lemonade made it fast and efficient to file the claim.

Absolutely amazing investment

With two new English bulldog puppies that are my whole world, I researched insurance companies for weeks! I decided on Lemonade due to the amazing coverage, great pricing and immediate responses!

Excellent, rapid claim reimbursement and amazing customer service

I had a question about my delayed submission of medical records (we weren't able to get our dog in for his annual exam, which was overdue, within the 14 day period). Not only did they answer my question, but they also notified me that his annual exam costs could be covered by my policy! I did not think that would be the case given I submitted records late. Throughout the claim reimbursement process, the customer service team was communicative, kind, and quick. Our claim was paid without issue and within a few short days!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
