Quick and easy to file a claim

My new Lemonade policy was way cheaper than my old policy and I am getting much better coverage. In late April I fled my first claim for a routine visit and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it was processed and payment sent to my bank. I left off one item when I filed the claim, went back and filed a follow up claim, and boom, approved and paid in minutes. Very impressed with the seed and quality of service.

Easy!

I'm very happy that I came across lemonade, filing a claim is very simple, fast, and easy. I would definitely recommend lemonade to my family and friends.

Best decision after adopting Lucy

I decided to get pet insurance with Lemonade because of the great experience I had with my renter's insurance. I had already used it three times and the whole experience is worth it, the customer service is great and the UX of a claim is great.

Super fast, convenient

I chose Lemonade because my renters insurance is through it, so I figured it’s easy to bundle and I got a 5% discount. I’ve had to use the claim system twice so far, and both times were so easy and fast. The app makes it easy to do everything at once. My only slight complain is they don’t always tell you what parts they aren’t covering, and you have to ask more about that. But they refund my money so quickly (literally the next day) and have very nice customer service. 10/10 would recommend

Easy service, wish it covered more

Lemonade is super easy to use, quick to sign up and submit claims, and the app is user friendly! Customer service is top notch!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
