Best pet insurance by far
This is the best pet insurance company by far! Customer care is amazing! The process of turning in a claim is so easy. I’ve never dealt with a company that is this well managed. I definitely do not regret my decision to choose Lemonade. I know I’m in good hands! Thank you lemonade!

Really impressed with Lemonade!
Lemonade has been a lifesaver in the short time we’ve had it. Miller had to have a major surgery and Lemonade was quick at closing his claim and reimbursed me 90%! Customer service has been great - one smaller claim did take about 2 weeks to complete but that has been my only issue with them in the 5+ months I’ve had it. Overall I highly recommend!

Excellent Insurance
So pleased with Lemonade insurance for my dog. I filed a claim and I had the money in my bank account on the next day. The coverage is exceptional. I highly recommend purchasing the insurance.

ease of claims
I use the app on my IPAD and it is so easy to put claims in for items that I had done at the vets. And the customer service people are so friendly and helpful if you have a questions.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
