You can not find a better place like Lemonade who provides you with awesome prices! Great coverage! Excellent customer service and the best part no hassle in reimbursements just a few questions to ask, picture of your receipt and the money is back in your bank account in a few days. Amazing service and coverage

Lemonade pet insurance has saved us several different times. We have a puppy with health issues and they have been so easy to work with when filing our claims. The first one was immediately accepted, and we had service representatives working with us almost every day for our second claim. When the claim gets accepted, the money is almost immediately in your account! When selecting a plan, we were given to option to cover additional services, and so far, everything except for one item has been covered under our plan, so we are extremely thankful for the Lemonde team.

Great option for pet insurance!

So far, Lemonade has been great! I’ve submitted claims a couple of times and it was super easy and I got the money the next day. My only complaint is that I wish they had multiple pet options and telephone customer service - although I have had great experience so far with their messenger service, I just prefer to talk on the phone sometimes.

Puppy ate plastic...Claim approved!

Our puppy found and consumed some plastic under a bed. She required medications and a 4 day stay at the vet:( No surgery but over $1000 in bet bills. We have the 90% plan and they reimbursed us.... so thankful we had the insurance for our pup.

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
