Wow...easy peasy, nice and breezy

Lemonade was so, so easy to use. It's almost too good to be true, not. The app is incredibly intuitive, the claim was refunded in less than 2 days, customer service was so easy, and the coverage for the price at Lemonade is pretty hard to argue with. I looked at probably 5 other Pet Insurance companies and so happy I went with Lemonade.

Ate ibuprofen while on steroids

We weren’t planning to get our puppy, and then we weren’t planning on getting insurance but boyyyyy we are so glad that we did! Lemonade has saved us so much heartache for our mischievous little guy.

TOTALLY WORTH IT

Lemonade Pet insurance is worth every penny spent. Making a claim is a breeze, they reimburse quickly, and the workers are very kind. 10 out of 10 would reccomend.

Easy and conveient

Signed up for pup insurance because I found out quickly how expensive an emergency can be with my other doggo :( Filed first claim for regular check up and it was a breeze! Filed in under 5 minutes from my phone, money was transferred to me the next day. So far so good, fingers crossed I do not need to use it for emergencies but I feel better knowing I have it in case.

Couldn't have been a better pet insurance experience!

Lemonade made the pet insurance experience simple, fast, and straight forward. Filing a claim for a valid expense couldn't have been easier. Would highly recommend insuring through this company!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
