Thank Goodness I had HealthyPaws!!!
My 2 1/2 year Corgi Mix had a Compressed Disc in his back and was unable to move his back legs - my Vet referred me to a Vet Specialist who advised he needed surgery at a cost between $5000 - $7000. Thanks to Healthy Paws - My Rory had his surgery and within a week was walking on all 4 legs again! A bit wobbly mind you but walking - now 3 weeks since his surgery he's about 95% back to normal and Healthy Paws has paid his medical claim just as agreed! What a relief on so many levels!! I had never purchased Pet Insurance and didn't know if or how well they would pay with this being my first claim. They were prompt - courteous-and caring and kept their committment which is whay you pay for. I Highly Recommend Healthy Paws to anyone!!!

Caring and great pet health insurance
I have had Health Paws as my pet insurance since 2011, and I have 4 rescue dogs. Throughout this time they have been wonderful with the claims process and checking in with me when my dogs went through more serious health issues like tumors and any surgical procedures. Their claims process is very fast, efficient and transparent. I have never had problems with them. Sometimes I wish my own health insurance was as easy to deal with!

Lifesaver!
I had always wondered if pet insurance was worth it and if they would provide adequate coverage but I decided to try it because I would do anything for my sweet pups! Healthy paws pet insurance could not be more worth it! I am so so thankful I have healthy paws pet insurance and recently put it to the test (unfortunately) as my 4 year old tore a ligament in her knee (ccl) and had to have a TPLO surgery. Healthy paws holds 110% true to their coverage claims and I was reimbursed quickly and without any hassle whatsoever. I also did the math and found that what I paid monthly (for 3ish years since I got her insurance) wouldn’t have even paid for a half of her procedure. So healthy paws has not only saved me a tremendous amount of money but also time and stress and I was also able to go to one of the best and top rated veterinary sports medicine orthopedic surgeons in my state because I didn’t have to shop around for a cheaper option. I will never go without pet insurance!! Thank you Healthy Paws!!
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
