The Best Investment for Your Pet

When I found my first puppy, I enrolled her in Healthy Paws. My previous rescue was an adult, and I hadn't had insurance. I dearly wish I had as she became a senior. After researching pet insurance companies, I settled on Healthy Paws. I am so glad that I did. I never thought I would need the insurance for my puppy; however, I was wrong. My 11-month Cavachon hurt herself jumping in our backyard, and she needed elbow surgery last month to repair the damage. Healthy Paws is the real deal, and they came through for us. Not only do they make the claims process hassle free, but they really care about their customers. Shortly after the surgery, Healthy Paws checked in on my sweet girl, who is on her way to recovery. Healthy Paws offers the best insurance and customer service!

Our 5 year old Boston Terrier Frankie’s hind quarters slowly became paralyzed as she had a ruptured disk and needed surgery. Healthy Paws was with us every step of the way and paid quickly and without any hassle. Their app is a pleasure to use and everyone in the company is SUPER nice and supportive. They far exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful to them. Our pup is back to her old shenanigans :-)

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance review Our 5 year old Boston Terrier Frankie was unable to walk and diagnosed with a ruptured disk. Frankie needed spinal surgery and Healthy Paws was with us every step of the way with total support and superior customer service. The costs were high and Healthy Paws sent us a check immediately. We cannot say enough about this company's commitment to their pet clients! Wonderful app is easy to use too. Thank you Healthy Paws!

The best

We got Healthy Paws for peace of mind. It has come in handy when my dog daughter has tummy trouble and the bill was enormous. The customer service is always extremely helpful and filing a claim takes no more than a minute. They are the best.

Do NOT use this service

Do NOT use this service first interaction was a hike in fees due to a change of address less than a mile away of the first. second was trying to process an invoice for a vet visit and lab test, 6 weeks and 20 emails later and nothing but grief from these guys. do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
