Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We adopted our dog back in February and my sister insisted we get Healthy Paws insurance. It was the best decision we could have made. We have an incredibly allergic pup, who's landed twice in the emergency room due to a bee sting and then again when he ate a palm pit, which had it not passed, he would have needed surgery. Both times, we submitted invoices to Healthy Paws -- the interface is super easy, all you do is upload the bill -- and then paid the majority of both claims fast and with no questions. They even followed up after to see how he was feeling. I couldn't be happier with their service, and without them, we would be out almost $5k in the last 3 months. My advice -- don't think twice. Best money you can spend to ensure your pet is covered always. THANK YOU HEALTHY PAWS!

Healthy paws has been fantastic, I got insurance for my golden retriever when he was a puppy and rarely needed it but he was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder and over the last three months we've been doing everything in our power to get him better. Initially I was worried that Healthy Paws wouldn't cover some of the extremely expensive treatments and surgery he needed or might take a while to reimburse us so I kind of held my breath when I submitted the claims but after dozens of vet visits I havent had a single bad experience despite the added complexity that I'm sure coronavirus has added to their business. I've called customer service a few times to check if a treatment is covered and every time they have answered quickly and his treatments have been covered. I was a skeptic at first, thinking that I could self-insure but I am so glad that I decided to get insurance for my dog and have nothing but positive things to say about Healthy Paws, their app is easy to use, reimbursements are quick, coverage is simple and comprehensive and customer service is great.

I was impressed with Healthy Paws for pet insurance from the beginning - five years ago. The cost was reasonable - It was easy to choose a plan and deductible that worked with my budget. It's easy to submit a claim, understand what is/not covered, and get reimbursed quickly. It wasn't until my dog was diagnosed with cancer four months ago that I truly came to recognize what a great decision I made when insured my pet with Healthy Paws. Her cancer care treatments are expensive and I must admit I was initially worried that reimbursement for claims might delayed or even denied. No claims have been delayed or denied. Today my dog is cancer free, and I have peace of mind that she is getting the best health care possible. Without a doubt, because of Healthy Paws my dog and I will get more quality time together. I am not one to leave reviews, but I can't say enough about HealthyPaws. Their customer service is the best I have encountered. They make filing claims simple, if they have questions, they facilitate getting the required documents, and they process the claims within two days, in my experience. Payment is received within days of submitting my claims. Whether I call in or send an email, HealthyPaws staff respond immediately and resolve any issue or question. This pet insurance is one of my best investments.
