Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Everyone told me to sign up for pet insurance when I was making the decision to adopt a puppy a couple months ago. After shopping around and hearing great things from mutual friends, I decided to go with Healthy Paws. Their monthly premium seemed manageable and coverage was described as fair and thorough. Flash forward to a month and a half into owning my sweet new pup, and we suffered our first major freak accident. He wound up getting bounced from ER to vet to ultimately needing emergency eye surgery, and less than 24 hours later, we were faced with a $7,500 bill to save his poor little eye. Luckily I had opted in for the insurance when I first got him, and since our grace period was over, we qualified for the full coverage offered for such a sudden damaging accident. I wound up paying a fraction of what I would have, and was able to upload my bill invoices quickly and easily with their super intuitive app through my phone. I am above and beyond thankful for Healthy Paws and couldn't ask for a better coverage during such a stressful time for me and my pet. They are quick, caring, personable, available, and efficient. I highly recommend them to any and all pet owners!! We are thrilled to be a party of the Healthy Paws family.

Healthy Paws has been a game changer for my two cat household! One of my cats developed severe allergies in his first year of life and requires immunotherapy shots every other day. Without Healthy Paws, I don't know how we would have paid for it. Claims are very easy to submit, and they are very prompt to process. We feel very lucky to have Healthy Paws!
