Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs and and English Bulldog. With these breeds, if you don’t have great pet insurance you would have to compromise their health (unless independently wealthy). We’ve had stomach and mass cell tumors with our oldest Berner (lost 2 toes), TPLO surgery (torn ACL) with our youngest Berner and Entropion Surgery (eyelash’s grow in and can cause ulcers on the eye) with our English Bulldog....as well as a myriad of other challenges. If it weren’t for Healthy Paws I’d be out over $30k!!! Best thing is, they have always been very fair, always consistent in their communication, never “miss” anything AND they pay fast!!!! And they always follow up to see how your pet is doing! Great company, great service!!!

They are quick to respond to questions and the process to submit a claim for review could not be easier. Following a surgery or unexpected vet visit is always stressful and the last thing I want to do is discuss insurance logistics over the phone. The Healthy Paws process is so simple, I upload my invoice and they review quickly. Their response is very clear and professional on what they are reimbursing and why. We are so thankful to have pet insurance when we’ve encountered unexpected and expensive vet visits! I highly recommend this company, they are easy to work with and we have been very pleased with the reimbursements we have received.

We were very happy with our choice. The claim was easy to file. The reimbursement into our checking account was fast. And the monthly cost is reasonable.

The company is great to deal with. Easy signup and streamlined claim process. Customer service is easy to connect and is very personable to deal with. One star was taken away due to the company's lack of transparency. This issue can be rectified if the client performs due diligence before signing up but there is a "pre-enrollment exam" that is required and that requirement is not very clear in the brochure or on its website. An awkward interaction was necessary to resolve this issue but fortunately, the company's amicable customer service came through and resolved the issue satisfactorily. Otherwise, I highly recommend this service to pet owners.
