Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We've had Healthy Paws insurance for 3 years. In that time we haven't, thankfully, needed it. But when we did, they came through. Our seven-year-old Yorkie Poo came down with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and needed an emergency hospitalization for 24 hours. They told us it would be somewhere between $1600 and $1800, and more if she had to stay longer. We immediately told them yes and to do whatever was needed to help her. Healthy Paws came through with their 90% reimbursement within a week. That kind of peace of mind is priceless.

My 8-month-old puppy ate something he shouldn't have. Long story short...after visiting his vet, getting x-rays, and attempting to get it moving along his digestive tract, we wound up at the emergency hospital. After an ultrasound, the surgeon recommended surgery. We discovered later that a piece of a strap had lodged itself in his stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. Had it not been for Health Paws Pet Insurance, we could never have afforded the surgery, and my grand daughter would have been devastated.
