Healthy Paws Review

Our newest puppy girl is quite a handful. We knew almost immediately insurance would benefit us with how often she was getting into mischief (despite our constant supervision). Healthy Paws has been a giant life saver for us and her. We decided to insure our older boy just in case after our amazing experience with how helpful they've been to her each and every time. Couldn't recommend healthy paws enough!

The BEST at every level

Healthy Paws is hands down the best pet insurance company in the world. Our dog that we adopted 2 months ago suddenly had a very serious eye problem. Healthy Paws was helping me from the start. My dog ended up having one of her eyes removed but Healthy Paws was with me every set of the way. Claims were easy to file and there was no fuss about it. I received checks within 5 days. They really took the stress of the situation off my back. After the surgery, they emailed me to see how my dog was doing. It brought tears to my eyes. THANK YOU HEALTHY PAWS!!!!!

You couldn't ask for better protection for your pet.

Our experience with Healthy Paws pet insurance has been wonderful. We chose this company after looking at 3 which our breeder recommended. It was the best choice for us, and for our dog. The claim process is very easy and the staff were wonderful any time we have had a question. Rest assure that you are in good hands with this company--THEY CARE!

Worth every penny

Best money spent, claimes processed rapidly with no trouble

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
