Easy and fast reimbursement

Been using healthy paws for my two dogs since I got them in 2015/2019. I really appreciate how easy it is to submit claims and get reimbursed. And HealthyPaws does it super fast! One of my dogs just went through bladder stone removal surgery and she needed urine analysis every 1-6 months as we continued to tweak her diet. The costs added up quickly but HealthyPaws took care of most of it.

Insurance that actually works the way you hope it will

My dog got a UTI and bladder stones. She had surgery, complications from surgery, and a few lingering issues after that. The combined bills from her multiple vets hit the low five figures. Healthy Paws paid the bills (minus the deductible and copay, of course) without any dispute. The process of submitting claims was extremely easy (drag and drop a pdf copy of the bill to a box on Healthy Paws' website and hit the "Submit" button), and the time for Healthy Paws to reach its determination was only about 1-2 weeks. The checks arrived promptly after that. I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am that when the vets would apologetically tell us that the next procedure was probably going to cost another $$$$, I could say, "No worries, she has insurance -- go ahead." In the end, my dog recovered, and I'm very grateful to everyone who helped us through this -- most notably her vets and Healthy Paws.

Our golden retriever had a very scary…

Our golden retriever had a very scary experience that spanned a couple of weeks when she suffered a urinary tract infection and bladder stones, one of which became lodged in her urethra and could not be dislodged. In the end, she went through bladder surgery, an ultrasound, a laser procedure, and multiple x-rays. She required a specialist vet in another state and a six-day hospital stay. When totaled up, the vet bills reached the low five figures. We submitted the bills online to Healthy Paws, which subtracted the deductible and the copay and a few other minor items (prescription dog food, for example). A couple of weeks later, we received our checks. It may have been the easiest insurance claim I've ever filed in my life in spite of the fact that it was for a large amount. Our girl is doing well now, and I'm grateful both for the wonderful care she received from her vets and for the coverage she had with Healthy Paws. As each successive vet told me it would cost yet another $$$$ for the next procedure, I would have despaired if I hadn't been able to think "We have pet insurance, it will be OK." It was a scary and hard time even with pet insurance, but it would have been much much much worse without Healthy Paws.

Fast, smooth, fabulous service!

So far, I’ve been extremely pleased with Healthy Paws. Their service is awesome, with an easy process to submit a claim, great and easy to reach customer service (I reached out to them pre and post filing a claim), and claim got reimbursed faster than the 10 days target they state. Would really recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking to insure their pet.
