Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws is hands down the best insurance. They are kind and reimburse quickly. My dog Kismet had a contaminated bully stick and was very ill. After a day at the vets the bill was $700. Yikes! I took a picture of the bill and sent it through the app. In 2 days the claim the complete and the check in the mail. My plan is a $250 deductible and covers 80% of all illnesses, accidents etc. BEST INSURANCE. Healthy Paws even contacted me to see how Kismet was doing. Now who does that? Personal service is high on my list. Every time I call them I have always gotten a kind, compassionate pet lover. A+

Our 4 year old French bulldog has needed spinal surgery twice in the past two years. We fortunately had the foresight to invest in insurance in her as a puppy, and our investment has paid out in thousands of dollars. I cannot recommend Heathy Paws enough. Their website was easy to use and submitting our multiple claims was fast and painless. Best of all, every claim was processed and approved within 10 business days and checks were received promptly thereafter.

I’ve had Healthy Paws insurance for my dog for almost ten years now. We’ve never really had health issues, small claims here and there - but boy - were we devastated last month when our dog got ahold of a rib bone and swallowed half of it, resulting in a partial blockage and a really sick pup. In my ears I could hear the vet admin telling me how much this was going to cost and what that was going to cost and and and...and all I could focus on was the terror I was feeling that my dog might die. When everything was said and done, the bill was enormous and my worry then shifted to “I wonder what charges insurance is going to fight me on”. Let me say this, I filed my claim. It was approved in less than two days and the reimbursement checks were in my hand by weeks end. Not only was the process easy, but Healthy Paws reached out ten days later to check on my dog. I’m so grateful and highly recommend them for pet insurance.

We'adopted Bentley in March. April was the soonest we could get him to our vet for a check up and he was in great shape. She suggested pet insurance and Healthy Paws was one of her choices. I've never insured a pet before and I'm glad I did. Just a couple of months ago he was diagnosed with a sarcoma. It was small and the surgeon was able to get all of it. Being retired and on a fixed income we were very happy with Healthy Paws. Their claim procedure is simple and they were very fast. I have had Healthy Paws for about 5 years now. I got the insurance on a whim after getting a Dachshund (Frankie) from a friend who needed a home. He was about 1 year old or so. A few months after getting the insurance I had to take Frank to the vet because he was choking a lot. After blood work, tests and xrays we found out Frank had Congestive heart failure and an enlarged heart. He would need to be on meds daily forever. He also started having some allergy issues. Basically a little problem child of ours. His medication and tests was covered by healthy paws by 90% !! They are literally a life saver. I could never be able to afford the hundreds of dollars a month for the 4 seperate medications he needs daily. The vet even tells everyone Frankies story. Healthy Paws is amazing. They cover the health problems Frank has now and may have in the future.
