Easy and Reliable
Through all our visits to vets we have felt secure getting tests, x-rays, and even emergency surgery done for our doggie, knowing that Healthy Paws is going to support us. It was so easy to submit the cliam for the emergency surgery and we had a reimbursment before our dog was even recovered!

Would never go without Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!
We adopted a Great Dane/Mastiff puppy (Apollo) when he was just over 4 months old. He had a rough start from the beginning, and a friend of mine, who had raised a Great Dane, said I needed to get pet insurance. I've had animal companions all of my life and never thought of pet insurance until my friend made this suggestion. She had recommended another company, but after looking over all the various pet insurance plans, I went with Healthy Paws and so grateful I did so. Submitting claims has been extremely easy, the turnaround for claim reimbursement has been amazing and the customer service has been exemplary, always following up with how Apollo has been doing after each claim. I can't say enough about Healthy Paws, and I every pet I adopt from hereon in will be covered by Healthy Paws.

Fast and efficient reimbursement! Outstanding and caring customer service!
I have saved thousands of dollars on my 2 y/o Dane/Mastiff boy, who has already had two elbow surgeries and a stomach surgery. Will never go without Healthy Paws Pet Insurance as long as I have animal companions in my life!

Great Service

Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
