Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I am so grateful to have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. The process to file a claim is quick and easy. Knowing they are there to help with the financial burden makes it so much easier to focus on getting my fur baby the care he needs versus worrying about whether or not I can afford it.

I created policies with Healthy Paws for both my dogs since I adopted them 5 and 6 years ago, and we've had a couple of emergency visits and Healthy Paws has always been super helpful and easy to work with. Their guidelines for what they reimburse are extremely clear and I've never encountered any unpleasant surprises. Even when one of my dogs had to spend 2 nights in the hospital (in other words, a hefty bill), I submitted the claim over the app (which took less than a minute, just took a photo of the invoice and hit submit), and it was processed in about a day and a half. The reimbursement check was in my mailbox in less than a week. And they even emailed to check in on my little girl to make sure she is doing well after her hospital stay! Will definitely be staying with this pet insurance for both current dogs and any future pets.

We have had Healthy Paws for some time. We have had good health and did not need to file a claim. This year we had two surgeries. Filing the claim was easy, the response quick. Healthy Paws paid as promised, promptly. In a few months she will be 14 and no longer able to get Healthy Paws. If not for that we would stay with Healthy Paws to the end. We have insurance to take money out of the decision process for health care. Happy we made this choice.

They doubled my monthly fee for no reason. $100 a month is just too much, my dog never went to the doctor. I am better off setting the $1200 a year a side and just pay the bill. Quite disappointed that they go crazy with the premium increases.
