Great service and experience

Willow has been diagnosed with entropion and has experienced ulceration in both eyes. She required surgery and a canine ophthalmologist was contacted and the surgery was done. She is recovering and Healthy Paws was great and paid the claim(s) promptly. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants pet insurance.

Rates even with only minor claims have tripled over 5 years and I can't afford to terminate as my dog grows older.

Should have looked for plan with more level or stable rates. Rates tripled over 5 years. Was told rates next year will go up another $40/month and even more every following year. If I cancel now I lose the thousands I've already payed in premiums and have no coverage for any future claims. You're attracted by the low first year premiums but hold on for the later increases. Wish I never started. Self funding is still the best long term policy.

Another Satisfied Customer

I have been with Healthy Paws for over five years. Over the past two years my dog, Gracie, contracted Valley Fever, broke a tooth and needed surgery, and had another surgery. It was easy to upload documents, as well as interact with customer service. In other words...no stress! And the best part, my policy is still very reasonable. I am very comfortable recommending and referring Healthy Paws!

Great Insurance, Highly recommend

I am a new pet owner. I didn't know what to expect. I shopped around because I knew pet insurance was a must. After making a few calls I didn't get that sense of comfort until I called healthy paws pet insurance. The gentleman on the phone answered all my questions and was super nice. Then the application process on the website was super easy to complete. I have been in the need to already file a couple of claims and I am amazed on the timing that they are processed and getting reimbursed. It's Fast less than the 10 days mentioned. AMAZED. I will Highly recommend it.

Paws Down The Best Insurance Out There

I switched to Healthy Paws in 2018 after having another highly rated policy that I had on my other pets in the past but found the per incident deductible, lifetime limit and limited reimbursement rates disappointing. Switching to Healthy Paws was a blessing when my five and half year mixed mutt female dog recently had an emergency on a Saturday morning in early August. I'm fortunate to have an excellent animal emergency hospital close by that was able to get her in right away and start treatment for what we discovered was a blocked uretha that required surgery and a seven day stay in the ICU when it turned into a much more complicated medical issue than initially diagnosed. Scary times but she's home and doing well now. Since I've never had to file a claim with Healthy Paws they were wonderful in guiding me through what was needed to submit and file her claims to get them paid quickly. Their customer service department is by far the best I've dealt with. Kind, knowledgeable and will help you every step of the way to get your claim paid quickly. They even emailed me to see how Lea was recovering after her hospital stay and continue to do so even though it's been over a month since she came home. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for excellent health insurance for your furry pal.
