Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I've never had a dog in my life before Luna, so I knew as soon as I got her back in 2017 that I needed pet insurance ASAP. I got her covered when she was 6 months old so she wouldn't have any pre-existing conditions. I read reviews for a bunch of insurance companies online, and I am SO glad I went with Healthy Paws! Every single time I've ever called them, I've been connected to a real person (in Washington!) who has compassionately and fully answered my questions or concerns. The claims process is quick and only ever takes a couple days, and then 90% of whatever is covered is deposited directly into my account. Recently, I got $600 of an over $700 emergency room bill reimbursed, which was HUGE for my peace of mind!! They're transparent about the annual deductible, which thankfully I'd already satisfied, and then they followed up with me personally afterward via email to ask how Luna was and make sure she was okay. The staff is friendly, the claims process is simple and intuitive, and there have never been any surprises in terms of what is or isn't covered. I am so glad I went with Healthy Paws, and I recommend them to all of my friends and family!

Like everyone I debated whether to get health insurance for my beautiful miniature poodle puppy, and opted to do so. As it turned out, she has had numerous medical problems, including epilepsy. Healthy Paws has been prompt in handling claims and staff members are responsive to any questions. I have strongly recommended Healthy Paws to dog owning friends.
