Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our experience with Healthy Paws has been outstanding. This was our first claim and it was so easy to submit it. Just take a pic of the bill and upload on the phone app and that’s it! Literally nothing else is needed, no explanation, no text entries or incident description needed... and the best part, we received our reimbursement within a few days. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Healthy Paws!! I adopted a kitten that turned out to have acute asthma! He is only 2 now with an ER visit every Sept/Oct at the turn of the season, due to Asthma attacks from allergies. The bill was way over $1K not to include meds. Healthy Paws deposited my reimbursement within days (less than a week) at 90% and for his meds as well. I would had never been able to afford his med bills without the reliability of Healthy Paws!

As a lawyer dealing with insurance companies (on both sides) for almost 30 years, I've seen practices across the board. Ease and uncontested coverage are, sadly, not the norm. I did a lot of homework before selecting Healthy Paws. I never had pet insurance before and didn't trust it (for the reasons stated above). When my young dog was diagnosed with elbow problems and needed surgery and rehab, I prepared for a fight. I was sure coverage would be contested somehow. Healthy Paws has been fantastic. As long as I submit itemized invoices the claim process is easy and I receive a reimbursement check quickly. I'm floored that I don't have to fight for benefits. During these times especially, the comfort of knowing my claims will be promptly paid is immeasurable. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

I didn't have much contact with Healthy Paws pet insurance until my puppy got sick. My mini golden doodle came down with something nasty that left her vomiting for three days. So I took her to the pet hospital to make sure it wasn't anything serious. After a slew of tests, the doctor determined that she was fine and she likely got into something she shouldn't have. I submitted my insurance claim to Healthy Paws by using their mobile app. A few days later I was reimbursed and then an agent contacted me to check on my puppy. It was so sweet to get a personalized note from them, asking how my puppy was doing. That little touch of going the extra mile and showing that they actually care is what made me realize I chose a great insurance company. I've already recommended Healthy Paws to my friends and I would recommend it to you as well.
