Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our little poodle Millie jumped off bed and broke her front leg in Aug. We took her to ER at that day and scheduled following surgery and weekly review for her. Each time when we submitted claim to Healthy Paws, we can get very quick response (around 3 ~ 4 days at most). We once worried that ER fees & sugary fees (thousands of dollars) may need a long time to process and we might miss the card payment date. But it turns out there is totally no basis for that concern. We will definitely keep using Healthy Paws and recommend their team to our friends who have a pet : )

I can't recommend the Healthy Paws team enough! Our cat Mac got an infection that put him in the hospital overnight. On top of being an emotional mess, we were worried sick about how we were going to afford his care. Healthy Paws reached out immediately to check on him (and us!) and put our minds at ease. What would have been close to a $1400 out-of-pocket expense was just a fraction of that, and the HP team continued to check in on us to ensure Mac was on the road to recovery. We were hesitant about getting pet insurance at first, but are so grateful we made the decision to go with Healthy Paws. Their mission to help homeless pets is the cherry on top of a wonderful organization.

Our experience with Healthy Paws has been outstanding. This was our first claim and it was so easy to submit it. Just take a pic of the bill and upload on the phone app and that’s it! Literally nothing else is needed, no explanation, no text entries or incident description needed... and the best part, we received our reimbursement within a few days. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Healthy Paws!! I adopted a kitten that turned out to have acute asthma! He is only 2 now with an ER visit every Sept/Oct at the turn of the season, due to Asthma attacks from allergies. The bill was way over $1K not to include meds. Healthy Paws deposited my reimbursement within days (less than a week) at 90% and for his meds as well. I would had never been able to afford his med bills without the reliability of Healthy Paws!
